COENS Co. Ltd. was recently awarded key services contracts by Petrobras for the P-80, P-82, and P-83, which entail the construction 

of three (3) platform ships aimed at producing pre-salt oil and for the exploration of pre-salt deposits, in the Buzios field. 

These 3 vessels are designed as new-generation vessels and will each have a capacity of 225Kpbd, an increase from the previous 

180Kpbd capacity. The work  in these contracts will be spread across multiple yards in Brazil, China, Singapore, and Indonesia,

before final integration and commissioning in Singapore.

The Buzios field currently has in operation 4 FPSOs with 7 more (P-78, P-79, P-80, P-82, P-83, Almirante Tamandaré and Almirante Barroso)

 in the fabrication or award stages.COENS had previously been awarded similar services contracts by Petrobras for the P-78 and P-79 FPSOs, 

encompassing work in South Korea and China.
